31st Dec 2009 12:12 Atleast for me.Steve Robert Irwin. The son of natrulists and conservationist,Bob and Lyn irwin,Steve learned to live with dangerous reptiles at a very early age.He was a great conservationist, from australia. He did what very less conservationists failed to do.Understand animals. He dedicated his entire life,in protecting rare wildlife. He died about 2 years ago.Going various places and telling people what importance wildlife has in our life was what he enjoyed doing.Popularly known as the "crocodile hunter",he mostly worked with crocodiles itself, which most of us find "Terrifying",Even though all crocodiles only attack when they are provoked.Even snakes were a favourite of his.I used to love watching him,Because his love of wildlife spoke volumes.Had i and he known, that lovely wildlife would be the cause of his death.
On september 4,2006,While filming The great barrier reefs' stingrays,One used the barb on their tail, and stung him right through his chest,Going through his heart. While he was being taken to the hospital, the doctor confirmed him dead.He had a young daughter,Bindi,Who now owns her own show,Spreading her dad's message."Every wild animal is unique in a way".His death shocked the nation and the world. But his father said "he died, doing what he loved".Dozens of thousands people thouht he would die young,And so he did."Crickey" was his favourite phrase,Also the reason why the new marapet makes me sad.I just can say,That he was a great man,And even though he is no more,We can still help him,in a way,By PRESERVING and PROTECTING wildlife.WE ALL HAVE SOME RESPONSIBLITY TO THIS PLANET.
