Pit Bull owners beware!

6th Dec 2009 18:29 This is a completely and true story I swear.
When I was 9 years old I was supposed to go to a brithday party. I didn't want to go so I spent the night at my nieghbors. My brother came over and told me the girl had just called and said that I said I would be there. My mom set me up to go there the next day. It was my mom's birthday that day so I used that as an excuse not to go, but she made me go anyway. I was over there for about anh hour, then we went to go get some snacks and movies. When we got back her babysitter started dinner so we played the game cube in her room. The next thing I heard was the door open and someone tell me the dog was coming in. I still to this day of December 6, 2009 do not know why, but am glad I got myself into a ball when I saw the dog. It hopped up on the bed and started sniffing my head. I was about to get up, but then I felt it's teeth sink into my head. Even being a very strong Catholic I still remember thinking that's it I'm gonna die. It bit my head, scratched my back. It but my thigh, then I turned over and saw it lunge with my very eyes. I put my leg up to shoo it away, but she didn't care she just bit that instead. That was it, she was done. She just walked out of the room as if nothing had happened. I was scared, but still did not shed a tear. I don't know why, but I felt nothing just the fact that I knew there had been something done. I remember calling my mom and telling her to come pick me up, but can you imagine her fear when she got there and there are two ambulences and a cop in the driveway. She raced through the door and was about to loose it, but I said mommy I'm fine, but I don't want any stiches! Then the paramedic said "Wanna ride in the ambulance?" I said no I wanna stay with my mommy and daddy. He said ok. I'll meet you at the hospital. I smiled and we left, though the ride felt like hours. When we got there, there was no one. Except a lady who we sat right next to. She said hello and offered me a Lolly Pop. I asked my parents and they said oh, of course. The lady saw I was shivering and asked if I could have a blanket. She asked what had happened and we told her the whole thing. I got called to the back so we walked to our room. They said they'll be there soon. It took almost two hours. It was about 3:30 A.M. When they did my stitches and it was 4:10 when they finished.
Well, that's my story. To this day I have problems with my knee and scars all over, but I know better then to go near a Pit Bull again.
My name is Sam and that's what happened to me.
