Remember the "Christ" in Christmas

It's looking now like Christmas,
There's snow laid on the ground,
You know you cannot miss this,
As snow is hardly found.
But as you play on the grass,
You see a sad young boy.
He pleads to everyone who dares to pass,
But they ingnore his way.

Then around two-thousand years ago,
A radiant child was born.
When Christmas wasn't about toys or snow,
Infact, Christmas didn't exist at all.
He taught us to give and love,
And turned this world back,
To the place filled with bunnies and doves,
To what it was before it went black.

So now on Christmas day,
When you open your lovely presents,
Just think about the baby,
And the poor unfortunate peasant.
Try to give to that homeless child,
A gift if even something small,
And please please don't be mild,
Or he'll end up with nothing at all.

Christmas holds in Christ,
Xmas crosses it out,
So remember do not fight,
And you'll be merrier GIVING a gift no doubt.
Merry Christmas to the world,
Always remember the Christ,
Happy Christmas to the world,
Never forget the Christ.
