Gon ~ Pets

This is just the backgrounds of all my pets and any plans I may have for them. Please note that none of my pets are for trade and I will block you if you ask for one of them. If I want to trade a pet, he/she will be in pet trades already.

ORIGINAL PETS:

DragonScholar - My first pet (I had original naming skills: same name as me). As soon as I saw the Midnight Grints, I knew DragonScholar had to be one so that's what she is and what she will always stay. When I first got her potion, midnight pets were new and expencive (to me and my newbishness at that time anyway) making her be worth more than (or the same as) DragonBaby in my opinion - after all, I got my dream non-LE pet easily! I'm planning to stat her as much as I can. DragonScholar is also my only pet that currently has a job so I will attempt to get her promoted (just not yet).

DragonBaby - Eight days after I got my account, I made a million marapoints (although I still can't remember how I managed that) and brought my Blue Poera potion - I looked for the cheapest avaliable Poera potion out of all the ones currently available. I created DragonBaby as soon as I got the potion and used it on her straight away. When I saw the Midnight Poeras, I knew DragonBaby had to be one and now - thanks to Charlie7000000000000 - she is.

NEWER PETS:

(pronunciations may not be correct but they are how the names of my pets are pronounced even if real/similar names or words are totally different pronunciations)

Labrick [LAB-rick] - I adopted this guy today (30th October 2009) when he was six days old and a Red Tantua. I have no idea what his name means but think he was a good find (instead of being a load of random letters/numbers). I'm planning to have Labrick as my portal pet due to the fact his name contains "lab" which could be associated with a portal. I love him as much as the pets I created and costumed myself despite the fact they cost a lot more then he did.

Kamekoe [KAH-meh-koh] - Derived from Kameko which is a Japanese name meaning "turtle child". In Japanese culture, the turtle is the symbol of longevity. I created Kamakoe on a whim and love her so much. I've costumed her as a Sketch Leido as I thought it would go well with the "turtle" part of the name meaning. I may change her costume in the future and may even make her an LE but, for now, I am happy with her costume as it is due to the fact it fits the name.

SpecialNerd [...] - This would be the nickname of me and one of my friends at my school. I created her in honor of our awesomness. I'm going to get her a different costume but not yet. I am currently attempting to complete Tarquin so may use the potion on her if I do complete it. Last time I failed due to the fact I was asked for a book that wasn't on shop search or for trade anywhere so I'll have to wait and see what happens before I decide what to do with SpecialNerd.

Talathiel [TAL-ath-i-AL] - I got her off of RandomNinjaGirl (on the 11st December 2009) who, in turn, got her from a contest in her old club. I was sent her as a Christmas present and I want to say thanks ... a lot. Talathiel will never change costume and will never be for trade! There do seem to be some people called Talathiel according to google and I would say that, therefore, it is a real name but (when you think about it) any random letters could be made into a name.

Mestino [MESS-tin-o] - I have no idea what the purpose to his name is but I got Mestino from the pound on the 2nd January 2010 while he was 61 days old. Mestino came in his current costume (Radioactive Azul) and I am planning to keep that costume on him. I feel that Mestino was a good buy as his name seems to be a real word according to Google although I cannot find a definition for it. I don't have any plans for him but I feel Mestino should stay on my account and not be traded. If I ever do trade him, he will be statted first.

Eventus [EVEN-to-s] - This is another pet I got from the pound (on the 5th of January 2010). It seems she is named after a business and something related to team events. On getting her, Eventus was a Green Flab and had been scratched. I have no plans for this pet but she was welcomed into my mara-family easily.

Saidin [sah-ih-DIHN] and Saidar [sah-ih-DAHR]: I was reading a series of books called The Wheel Of Time (WoT) and, well, liked it (xD). Saidin (male) and Saidar (female) are the halves of a power in the book - originally named the One Power and used by people called Aes Sedai (meaning 'servants of all' in whatever their old language is). Saidin and Saidar are my (currently un-costumed) twin pets. Meaning I'm going to have to keep them in matching costumes [fun ????].
