Origin of Rannoch

Well now. The title makes it sound like there's a whole history behind the name of my little earthfairy deer. Well, perhaps not a whole history, but just an explanation as to why his name and costume and species is the way it is.

Simple! Rannoch is the name of the main character from one of my favorite book! The Fire Bringer By David Clement-Davies. I read this when I was in middle school, and absolutely loved it. The main character is a deer named Rannoch, and just something about him makes him the perfect candidate for an earthfairy costume. You might just have to read the book yourself :] I recommend it.

Yep. So just a little blurb about this, since something prettier like Klaire could've been a viotto, but of course Rannoch had a deeper meaning.
