To the first point, it really is the new kid syndrome. In a small town, it doesn't matter if the new kid is cute or pretty or what. They WILL have a following. Because the rest of the kids in town probably remember when Johnny peed his pants in 2nd grade and Jane ate her boogers. I've been the new girl many times, and was totally not cute when I was younger, but new = they will fall all over you.
Yeah, the end of the last book made me laugh, though. I was thinking, ooh, and the perfect daughter will grow up until she's the perfect age so she looks as old as the other cullens and does not have any venom and life is perfect.
I mean, the Harry Potter epilogue was better than the end of BD!
The movie, my mom and I giggled all the way through, because nothing was explained, it was just EMO!Edward staring and montages of "bonding time". It was like watching a really bad movie, knowing it would be bad.
