The lake had always had a weird essence to it, but never had anything caught Marina Thorton's attention like Teal Lake.
Growing up on the rural side of Louisiana, Marina and her family were forced to move, after a couple of city folk bought the land right out from under their feet. Moving into a deserted lake side log cabin, she and her family experience many unexplainable happenings, and start to realize that they may not be alone at all. Marina is drawn to the lake after encountering several unimaginable things, and she becomes obsessedly determined to find out what is on the other side of the lake, no matter the several warnings she is given to stay away. Her family is worried about her, but she becomes utterly and completely senile, to a sadistic point. She takes it into her own hands to venture out across the lake to discover for herself what is happening on the other side, and what it has to do with the Lake. When she goes missing for several days, her family is cornered and questioned of her disappearance, by a mob of Native American Villagers from a near by village. They know where Marina is, and they aren't pleased. They set fire to the cabin, killing all but three of Marina's siblings, as well as her parents, leaving them to fend for themselves, and only hope they can find their sister, before whatever is on the other side of that lake does.
A bloody adventure to test your mental psyche, as a curse like no other is unleashed, onto none other than Teal Lake, hiding a brooding story of murder, hardship, and the unthinkable.
