11th Aug 2008 18:34 Hi I'm a puppy who loves to play.
I'm Coco a puppy
Chocolate Labrador.
It was a cold January night when my Mama,
Mae has given birth to lovely 4 puppies.
I was one of them.
I was brought to a lovely home.
I have a favorite toy
a purple bouncy ball.
But then our owner
had to move and
gave us away to
a rescue center.
It was a great place
until one sunny March
a lady came and adopted
my sister.
On the car it had a
picture of make-up
and 2 dogs.
The lady didn't seem
so friendly.
It was finally 2 years later.
My sister got adopted
and so did my brother.
Now I only had a Mama and
a sister left.
Then 2 weeks later.
The same car came and the
same lady.
She picked up my Mama.
I was sad and scared.
How can they
do that?
They are taking my Mama again.
I didn't like this
at
all.
Another dog joined our cage.
He is friendly
and enjoys playing
with my sister and me.
It was 2 years later
and I was a big dog now.
My sister is too and
my friend is a little
older than us.
Then again that horrible lady came
back.
She said something
about "Animal Testing"
She picked up a beautiful
kitten. And took him.
But that's not the only
pet she took. She
took my friend too!
It was a year later
I was sitting there
playing with my
purple bouncy ball.
I missed all my
family.
I wish I can go see
them. I hope they
have a nice owner.
But with that lady. I don't
think they have
a nice owner.
I sat there
playing with
my bouncy ball.
Until that stupid
lady came again.
She picked me up.
And took me with her.
They came to
a factory.
It had lots of
make-up and a LOT
of animals.
Men and women
with white coats
came out
of the rooms
picking up animals.
The strange part was they never
returned to their cage.
It was me who was up next.
They took out some
shampoo. It burns!
Get it off me!
Get it off!
Hi I'm Coco!
I didn't see my sister or my favorite purple bouncy ball.
I was tested on.
Thousands of animals die everyday because of testing.
More and more testing companies are opening and that means
more animals will die.
Please spread this story if you are against animal testing.
This story is based on a true story that really happened.

Yes this story IS based on a true story.
There was a dog named Coco which lived in a pet store and I loved her very much. I'd come to feed her and play with her everyday. The strange was the next day I didn't see her. I asked the manager why. Guess what he said. "Coco went to a testing company." I cried for days. I miss you Coco very much!
