uh... sorry but would u rather they did animal testing on humans? besides- 97% of animal testing is done on rodents and birds, not puppies. also less than 95% of animals go through anything that would cause them pain and if there is any sort of pain they are given annesthetic. animal testing also kills less than 100 thousand animals a year- compared to the 4million cats and dogs that are put down in animal shelters across the united states biannually. animal testing is also extremely expensive so tests are not done frivilously. and genetic simulations aren't far enough along to give accurate results- animal testing is the only option we have to protect humans.
