The Dark Blue Rose --------------------- Like the rivers sky the birds flew high to the dark blue rose deep in the sky the moon had turned blue like the sky as the moon some people say it was from our sorrows others say it was the new light but everyone knew it was not to be all right as the birds reached for the dark blue rose everything started to darken but as they touched it the world had lighted then everything was normal from the terrible fix it was like everyone had forgotten it in the flick of the wrist our sorrows were vanquished we were happy once more the world had lightened in a whole new way thank the dark blue rose for saving the day now our world is happy once more this is the way it should be forever more ---------------------------- Peace and Quiet ----------------- The wind mills are turning The sea breeze is blowing Everyone likes some peace and quiet Everything around you is still While you lay on the grass Or look out through your window sill All is quiet There is nothing around Just enjoy the sweet, sweet sound Just lay on your back and enjoy the peace and quiet as it lasts ------------------------------- Its Spring ------------ The wind is bolwing The flowers are stirring I guess you could say its Spring The ice is melting The rain is coming So its Spring Jump and sing Rejoice because Winter has passed Because Spring is here Finally, at last
