I would like to take this opportunity and rant about all the new stuff and the complaining that comes with it all. Now I understand that everyone wants to get the new stuff but complaining on the forums does no good what-so-ever. Just wait it out a month or so and you won't spend your mara life-savings on the new stuff. And furthermore, it is TOTALLY possible to restock the new stuff just try when there are LESS then 800 people online.
I get so mad when people think that every person on the site should have everything they want. That would make the game pointless.
...Rant over...

Today I finally signed up for Fall classes...I'm taking Small Business Management, Business Ethics, and Computer Logic. The Small Business Management will be pretty easy...basic class...I am really looking forward to the Ethics class as I am a very good talker and I love class discussions. Computer Logic will be interesting...the description in the course guide seems like it is a basic class so I hope it is...I am good with computers but I don't know about programing...lol
All three classes are back to back Tuesdays and Thursdays...from 8AM to 12:15PM I'll be in class...only 15 min break between each.
I like going two days a week because I have three full days and two half days at work still...bills don't go on hold when you go to school..
I am ready to go back to school..taking the summer off has been nice but I am broke and can't go anywhere so staying out of class was pointless...The only thing I got accomplished was stuff here on Mara..lol
On that note I'm off for now. But you'll hear more soon.

I have noticed a lot of people that think it is alright to advertise that they are 'leaving marapets'...ok most people that say this are just attention seeking and don't ever leave...or leave for a few days then they are back begging for their stuff back. Now don't get all mad at me I said MOST people, not including anyone that doesn't belong!! Back to my rant, I get so mad at this because people are usually very mad at the time of this and they make harsh decisions like giving away pets and items...then/if they come back, some of them, will beg on the forums or even mail the people if they know who has their stuff or pets...they beg for it back saying that it is THEIRS and that is the things aren't given back, they will report the person. Now this is really some crap, in my opinion, anything given away NO MATTER WHEN OR WHAT, once the other person has possession of it, they can do WHATEVER they want and you can't be asking for it back...Only way I can see thing working out in a good way and it be ok, would be between friends if you make an agreement before hand and they don't mind watching/training a pet...items maybe for avies they might want to have or something of that sort...I would suggest that you don't do that unless you really know the person because after 48 hours staff can't do diddle squat about it and you most likely won't get anything back....
That is it for now, thanks for reading

Team Work in school.....
I am in college and all of my classes this semester had teachers thought that they needed to emphasize on team work.
In one class, Human Relations in the Work Place, our teacher had 4 "team assignments" for us to do. Although, keep in mind the teacher did NOT give us time in class to work on any of the "team assignments"!!!! Which, if you have ever done team work like this you know what I mean....it makes it TONS harder, especially when you are in college and NO ONE lives in dorms because there are NONE! Anyways, we picked teams on the first day of class and those are the teams we had all semester long. I wanted to be in a team with people I already knew....so my friend Nicole happened to be in the class and this guy, Matt, from my Finance class last semester, were the only ones I knew and just so happening to be sitting by so the team was formed.
I thought that we had a good team picked out, we are all relatively smart and catch on quick. The assignments consisted of a research paper (6-8 pages), a team interview with a 6-8 page paper about what we learned, a presentation on the interview, and finally we had to pick a chapter in the book and teach it to the rest of the class.
The research paper was on hiring practices. It had to be from all of us but written like one paper, flowing from one piece to the next un-noticeable. It went ok, except for Matt didn't give me his part of the paper til like 15 mins before class. We (me and Nicole) ended up having to re-do most of his part cause it was all messed up. Bad grammar, spelling, run on sentences, ect. When the teacher had told us that it needed to be re-done, Matt said "I can't I have to go to work." Nicole was already missing work to help, why couldn't he?? Well me and Nicole fixed it and turned it back in. We (me and Nicole) got an A on it, Matt got a C. LOL
You would think he would learn but oh no.....on the interview paper the same thing happened...me and Nicole had to set up the interview and then do most of the work on the paper, putting it together from all the notes we took. Got another A on our part, don't know what Matt got on that one.
On the presentation of the interview, he actually did an alright job. Nicole had suggested that we just split it in to 3 parts and each summarize our part....That went good...I think I got a A or B on it.
Now the final project was the worst.....Matt thought doing the Chapter on Employee Relations would be easy as it was only 9 pages long. I wrote up the basic outline and gave it to Nicole and she wrote up the extended outline or basic script....then we asked Matt if he could make a cross word puzzle with the 7 key terms from the chapter on it....he brought that back a week later..It took his a WEEK to do that!!! *screams* I asked him to do the Power Point for it, since it was required and me and Nicole had taken turns doing the bulk of the work already. He said that he would...this was on Thursday and the presentation is due on the following Tuesday! Well we try and call and email him over the weekend and don't get anything. So Monday night I made a Power Point so we would have backup if he didn't do it or if he didn't show up to class. On Tuesday morning, we had arranged to come in about 30 mins early to get ready...Me and Nicole are sitting in class at 7:30AM, class starts at 8AM, we talked for a few mins about it and then realized he wasn't there and it was only 5 mins til 8AM! I was trying to tell Nicole that it would be alright and the teacher wouldn't take off on our part because of him, but she was freaking out. So the teacher stalls for a few mins and at 15 min after 8AM Matt walks in the door....I almost threw my book at him!! I was so mad...his excuse, "I got caught by a train" That made me even madder!!! The beginning of the presentation went really bad as, Matt was trying to catch up and kept walking in front of me while I was talking. :X Once he got settled it went a little better, but I still couldn't believe he had been late. I got my grade and it was an A. Don't know what Matt or Nicole got they weren't in class today.
I hope the teacher will listen to me when I tell him what happened with the team work stuff and how not giving time "in class" to do some of the research and collaborating it can make it easier for someone to not do their part and put it all on the other team members.
I feel lots better now that is it all over. I guess the one good thing about that class is we don't have a final exam. I would have rather had a final exam over this team work. It stressed me out big time.
Thanks for reading my rant
