So I begin.

The greatest problem isn't the beggars. That is in fact a minor problem, if any at all.
The problem is...the chat speaking liars.
Allow me to explain.
I believe we've all seen the 8 year olds who lie about their age *just* to get access to forums. I have nothing against children. Used to be one. I have a problem with chat speaking liars.
Sure, they gain access to the forums. That isn't the problem. The problem is what they do there.
We've all seen it.
"LUKIN 4 A BF/GF!!!!!!1!1$1$@!5771`!!!2!"
"MY CAT DYED!!!!!@#@4515!!"
"IM BORD LKETS XAT!!!!"
"PMG!!!!!!!" (or other misspelled variations.)
I will not continue, since I can feel my little grey cells dying one by one.

MORE ON CHATSPEAK
I posted this on a forum topic and I was quite intrigued by my own words:

Ever since the dawn of writing, abbr. (abbreviations) have existed.
Ever since the dawn of internet, Ch@t$peek (Chatspeaak) has existed.
You can't change that. You can merely learn to tolerate it and live with it.

I personally hate chatspeak, so I try to make sure I only talk to people who use it for entertainment purposes, not for actually communicating.

PETS
Mara used to be about the pets. Now, the pets are no better than broken. They don't get tired, or hungry, or bored.

PEOPLE
It's not about the people either. It's about the money. Has anyone noticed the amount of Ads on this site? What can this tell us?
I don't wish to criticize Ian. On the contrary, he does a great job. Unfortunately, he seems to have forgotten what mara is.

COMMENT
I'll probably get banned for this. I believe in the freedom of speech. I am not proclaiming this on the forums. You are allowed to express your views in your blog, but it all depends which staff member decides to check. There is favoring, no one can deny it.

GRAPHICS
Another thing: the graphics. I do not say all, but most, these days, are *sloppy*. The artists (as I see it, Laimay is either schizophrenics or she has graphic partners) only hurry and don't bother about quality.

CELEBRITIES
I have nothing against celebrities. Some are better, some are worse, some are just terrible. Those are my views, and I do not wish to share them with the world.
These days, it's the only thing you here about. I don't care who's going out with who and who got pregnant. I don't care if you love or hate Miley Cyrus or Zac Efron.
There's too much celebrity talk. What happened to nice, kind chats where people would actually share some real opinions?

FASHION SHOWS

COSTUME RANTS
It's called pixels people. Pixels don't influence kids to become skinny, fat, old, or toddler.

ANOTHER COMMENT
My opinion can't change much, but venting is good for the soul. I believe the only solution is to remove most of mara and turn it into what it was in the beginning: a great pets site with sleeping and battle poses and no repetitive costumes.

CONCLUSION
If you don't believe in the freedom of speech, then I don't see why you have bothered to read this.

DAWN OF A NEW YEAR
This is a temporary section.
It is merely to say this must have been the worse mara-year I've spent on mara. Much has changed for the better, but much for the worse.
I can only hope, in the new year, people will learn to spell.
