29th Jul 2008 11:55 Please comment on this and help me out. Especially if you remember someone called Dino247890. [Because she is the one writing this now. Yes,I am her. The same person.]
I'm going to tell you all something. I was a very good roleplayer not to long ago. However, over the course of one year,I seem to have lost it all. All my amazing plots, stories, they are past...or are they?
There are a few reasons, which I will state here:
1. Most of the Rp boards tend to be in basic now. Some might call me stubborn, but I will not rp down in Basic. A good rp-er doesn't no cast his- or herself down there, and I won't either.
2. Advanced board,at the moment,is going at the rate of the slowest garden snail in the universe. This can't go on. I want to change it. But I can't do this without help.
3. None of my boards are ever replied to,unless I go around asking, and even then it is a slim chance that my board will make it past Two pages. Now whether this is because my fantastic plots are too complicated,I don't know.
4. Few people are actually interested in what I am interested in. Plus I like being at the beginning of a plot, rather than letting it develop.
5. I have lost pretty much all my old rp-ing buddies, through no fault of my own[though some say it was my fault and I had it coming],and because of reason 4,I find it difficult to make new ones. I feel as if I've been thrown out of the business. No roleplayer should feel like that.
6. The only good plots are in basic. I will not cast myself down to basic. I tried once, and I didn't like it.
7. I like group rp-ing. 1 on 1's are ok,but I don't excel in them. Plus I feel that the story doesn't develop fast enough for my liking.
8. All the good rp-ers are quitting/going missing.
9. It is hard imagining up new plots. Even more annoying when no-one actually replies.
10. People are inactive on my boards sometimes to,just because they don't see me on.[The usual reason, anyway]
Rant over. Just please,I really want to recover my muse before it dies forever.
