Noella & Elyra

Hello, I???m Sakuracherri. I also go by Cherri or Ellie (short for Danielle). According to the site, I???ve been on mara since January ???07. So I???m pretty much an Oldie. I admit that I tend to take long hiatuses so I don???t fall behind in schoolwork and socializing, etc., but I always seem to come back.

Anyways, I have decided to app for Noella. Despite the fact that I???d like pretty much all of your pets, items, and money, I???d take Noella over any of them. Her name is simply lovely. I already have some nice les and costumes, but what I lack is name I really love. Sure Perses is a real greek titan (or something), but it doesn???t completely roll off my tongue or anything. I don???t long for real named pets or pets that resemble names (though they can be nice and I currently have a few); what I really yearn for (mara-wise), is a pet with a name that just sounds pretty. A simple task you would think, but my abilities to acquire such a name appear to be lacking. A lot.

Outside of mara, I am a runner (track and cross country), I play soccer, play the violin and attempt to not completely fail my classes. While I struggle with each daily, I find that hanging out on mara is a de-stressing situation. I can talk to friends without worry of judgment and I can set goals for myself with something I can actually achieve. I like the feeling of success, even if it is on a website made up of cute pixel/graphics. And yes, I do find it sad how I can succeed more on website than in real life. I???m working on that. (;

Speaking of work, I???m a babysitter like most teens. Luckily the kids I sit for are adorable and usually very sweet. As a babysitter, I???m responsible and I???ll take care of the pixels that make up Noella. I???ll feed her pixel food, brush her pixel hair and will cherish her lovely pixel self until I retire from mara or trade her (which is a slim possibility). Sadly, there are names out there that I think are prettier than hers, such as my own name Danielle/Ellie, and others like Gemma or Charlotte. While I???m sure you wouldn???t want me to trade her as you???ve probably worked hard however you got her, I promise that I???d only trade her for another pixel with a stunning name. Nothing short of heart-stopping would do. If I???m not offered something so amazing, I would keep her a chibs and get her either a fairy, minipet or hobo costume. Three random choices, but I love all three on chibs. And by ???get her a costume???, I mean temple if I have the patience and mp (working on it). C;

Speaking of learning French (topic of conversation on the forum C: ), je parle francais (un peu). [I don???t know how to do accents on the computer though. I???m technologically challenged.] Je veux voyager en France parce que je veux monter le ???chunnel??? a London et je veux aller a la plage francaise. [Sorry, it looks sort of weird without accents. Such a fail, so I think I???ll stop attempting to be cool and save myself further embarrassment.]

On another note, the more I stare at your profile thinking of what to write, the more tempting it becomes to apply for another pet of yours as well. Elyra. I just realized where I recognized that name from, one of my all time favorite movies, She???s the Man (if you haven???t seen it, go pop some popcorn and sprint to blockbuster). The name of the school the main character ends up at is Illyria. My memory is like a steel trap when it comes to random facts like this (If only it was that way for important things like schoolwork too). Anyways, I think her name is pretty close to Noella???s on the ???lovely-scale??? (yes I am dorky enough to make up something like a ???lovely-scale???). Hopefully you don???t consider me selfish or greedy for attempting to apply for her as well. I feel sort of bad doing it (not bad enough it seems). So if you???d please, I???d like to add her on to my list of pixels I???m applying for.

What I said for Noella would go for Elyra as well. I would only trade her for a pet with a stunning, heart-stopping, jaw-dropping, fist-pumping name. Should I be so lucky as to have her, I would attempt to costume her funky (being the dork I am, I???d like her to remind me even more of She???s the Man. The funky mordo is wearing a sweatband; sweatbands remind me of sports; the main sport I play is soccer; the entire movie is about soccer. So yeah. C: ).

Anyways, I may attempt some sort of amazing graphic in the next hour or so (it depends on whether I can find something good in my house to give me strength).

Good luck picking out the winners/owners. Whoever they are, they???ll be lucky ducks that get pets with lovely names, or mp/items that boost their account. (I???m already jealous. C: )
