I am an adult player. I joined Marapets on September 12, 2007
Here is a breakdown of my username. Blue is my favorite color, Taz is my favorite character and 2001 is just a random number I used. My real name is Marylu. :D

My husband and I don't celebrate Christmas, we celebrate Yule, from the Winter Solstice which this year is Dec 21, to Jan 1 where we end our celebration. My parents will be gone to Florida (Mom) and my Dad is downstate, so it is only my hubs and I and our cute little zoo!

Katiekate day 1- my dad's whole extended family (30-40 people) gathers on Christmas eve and we do dinner and a secret santa gift exchange at my aunt's house. Then the next day the same group plus some stragglers have lunch together at my grandma's house. This year we're secretly flying in my brother's family so my grandma will have all her great grandkids in one place for the first time in many years. They haven't all met yet so it will be very heartwarming. we'll see how long the secret lasts!

Pinksparkle92 day 1: We gather as a family at my sisters house for Christmas Day. We do a secret Santa gift exchange and each year we have a different theme and this year is wacky presents! We have a Christmas dinner followed by some board games and we each bring a small gift for the winner of each game too. I love the family time and meeting up all together as we all live quite spread out across the country so meeting up can be tricky but Christmas is always a time we all come together and spend it with each other

@Mirco That is what we did with one set of my grandparents. We would all gather at their house but for the gifts we picked a name, and we got that person something and the grandparents got everyone a little sometime.

Exactly! It's the one time we all get together! I have 3 sibs and they have 6 kids between them, and we are quite spread out, but I'm so glad we all live in Ontario and can get together.

@DayravenB I know what you mean it's snowing here again it is supposed to get really bad out tonight. Also, this is why I love the holidays it is the one-time people take time out of their lives to spend time with their family and catch up on their day to day lives.
