plot: Students with magical powers go to special, top-secret schools. But if they use their magic in risky, illegal ways, they're kicked out of those schools, and transferred to the high-security Phinneas T. Wilhelm Institute for Magical Delinquents, or as the "students" not-so-affectionately refer to it, "Phinny." It's located in downtown Manhattan, but the students typically only see the city through their barred (and magically sealed) dormitory windows. Escaping from Phinny is nearly impossible, but some students are desperate to find a way out. But the only way out that one girl can think of, is using their magic for good. But what if they don't want to? well then she came up with an idea, if they didn't want to turn good then they just better pretend if they want out of this prison-like place.

Erik planted a kiss on her lips. "Of course. I beat up a kid so they would send me here to be with you. I love you so much, and you know that!" He smiled and set his gift on the desk. It was a rare, magical, silver ferret- that could levitate. The ferret twisted around, and it's fur turned black, then red, and then it suddenly transformed into a dog, and back to it's original form. Di smiled happily.
"I can't believe you were able to get me a Shape-shifting Ferret! And in silver!" she sighed happily, her head against his chest.

I'm sure something can be managed," he spoke in his silky voice, at the same time slipping a fat wad of cash into the front desk lady's pocket. She giggled and blushed, and then composed herself before nodding.
At the same moment, Di came hurdling downstairs into his arms. "Eeep! Erik! You're here!" she squeaked joyfully.

Jonathan looked out one of the oilslit windows on a whim. He blanched considerably. It couldn't be! oh no it was. He had won a scholorship to to some high class school and there he had met the biggest possible jerk to him ever. The one person who had ever seemed to take 80's high school movies to heart and had locked him in a dumptster.
"dangit," he said banging his head against the wall.

Erik stepped out of his limo, carrying a large bag. He flashed his teeth at two girls on the street, the light glinting of his teeth and bright blond hair, and they started giggling. He walked inside the building, his gift for Di squirming in his arms.
