Then the girl turned to the big red tent that took up most of the circus grounds. It towered over everything, and was at least three or four times higher than the largest cabin was. And it certainly was much wider around than anything she had seen so far in the circus. The teenager took a few steps towards it and walked under the bright red flaps and into the cooler sanctuary of the circus tent. She was surprised; she had expected it to be warmer in here, considering it was late August.
She was in awe as she looked at the inside of the tent. She had to tilt her head back almost 90?? to be able to see the top. When she looked back down, she noticed the wood ring in the middle, enclosed by rows and rows of chairs, where the audience evidently sat.
