0 lupepup1616His eyes still closed, and his ears folded, Kija struggled to his mother's side to nurse. His black and gray pelt shining where Fern had licked him. Beta had pushed her sister Flower out of the way and was now suckling. She was slightly larger than the others and was noticably more dominant at her day old state. Kai smiled at this.

0 lupepup1616Kija pawed at his mother's side though his sisters wouldn't let him eat. Letting out a helpless cry of a newborn, he whinned. Beta paid no mind to her smaller brother and continued to nurse. Kai looked to Fern and then to young Kija.
